Half Day Glass Fusing Experience
My studio is located in Broadstairs, Kent
For safety reasons, you are advised to wear casual clothing and closed toed shoes on the day.
The session will start at 10.00am and finish at around 1.00pm.
Once complete, your glass will need to be kiln fired and will be ready for collection, usually between 7 and 10 days after the event. (Each firing will take around 12 hours and a day to cool).
WHAT YOU WILL LEARN:
How to select, cut and combine glass safely to achieve a range of different effects.
Basic firing schedules and how to load your work into the kiln.
How to design and make your chosen products e.g., coasters, light catchers, jewellery, free standing ornaments, glass art etc. I have plenty of samples and references if you need inspiration.
How you could present your work to show it to its best advantage once complete.
