The Pie Factory Margate will open its doors again from Friday 23rd April to Wednesday 28th April 2021, for an exhibition of work by five local artists - Christine Jeffryes, Tony Caroli, Wendy Jones, Karen H King and Sarah Stokes. Odyssey will feature work in varying styles, approaches and mediums including acrylic and watercolour paint, glass, resin and mixed media, all pulled together to produce a unique exhibition. Originally planned for April 2020, the exhibition now includes new pieces influenced by life experiences and permitted journeys along the beautiful Thanet coast. Whether it's a splash of bright colourful flowers; a joyful abstract that takes you on an imaginary journey; a series of sunlit waves; a stylized glass sculpture, or unique glass vessel, this exhibition has something to appeal to everyone. The Pie Factory will open daily from 10.30am to 5.30pm, closing at 2.00pm on 28th April.

Come along and discover the fantastic range of work produced in East Kent at this artisan makers market organised during POW! Thanet 2020 (POW stands for Power of Women and is a festival that takes place annually in this wonderful area of Kent to celebrate International Women's Day). It's also a chance to steal a glance inside the old Fire Station, an amazing building in the heart of Ramsgate.
Attend this half day class from 10.00am to 1.00pm and learn how to make beautiful bespoke festive decorations for your home. You will learn how to: cut and handle glass safely; select and combine materials creatively and prepare glass for firing. Your work will be fired and ready for collection or posting within ten days of the course. Suitable for age 12+
